Job Description

SNI Companies is seeking energetic and competitive individuals for an Afterhours Dispatcher Coordinator. 

This is a contract to hire opportunity and will be onsite role with an asset-based logistics company in Northeast Florida
New hires will work and be trained within existing sales/operations teams
Base salary is offered and candidates are commissionable after 6 months.

Starting Hourly Rate between $22/hr.-$24/hr
 (negotiable and based on experience).

Work Schedule:
Monday – Thursday Afterhours – 18:00-06:00 OR Friday to Monday 20:00-08:00.  

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Track and trace shipments from pickup to delivery by staying in constant communication with carriers, drivers and customers
  • Update transportation management software – real-time throughout lifecycle of shipment
  • Schedule / Re-schedule appointments as needed
  • Negotiate competitive transportation rates and post loads across various transportation networks. 

Qualifications:
  • 1 year of experience in the transportation/logistics industry
  • Dispatch Support or Carrier Sales experience preferred
  • Must be computer literate and able to work as a team player, multitask, problem solve and handle high volume inbound and outbound calls & emails in a stressful environment
  • Ability to quickly learn new software
